August 2026, Dubai, UAE: In line with the UAE observing 2026 as the Year of Family, Camellia will host a Community Family Sports Day on Sunday, 9 August 2026, at Danube Sports World in Al Habtoor City, Dubai.
The event aims to encourage families to adopt healthier lifestyles, strengthen relationships, offer a sense of community through participation, and support the inclusion of People of Determination through a line-up of sports, health, and educational activities presented and facilitated by healthcare providers, sports academies, nutrition specialists, and inclusion advocates.
From 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, visitors at the event can participate in a variety of activities like interactive football, family sports, health awareness sessions, nutrition education, children’s activities, and interact directly with organisations committed to improving community wellbeing.
“This event represents a collaborative community effort aligned with the objectives of the Year of the Family in the UAE – the national initiative that encourages everyone who calls the UAE home to celebrate the family as the foundation of a strong, united, and compassionate community. This is a celebration of partnership between healthcare providers, sports organisations, educational institutions, and community support organisations, highlighting their role in building a healthier, happier and more connected society,” said Rayan Ahmed, the Event Director, Camellia.
The initiative is supported by community partners RiyActive Football Academy, Cuppa Espresso, Life Nutrition, The Inclusive Athlete, Camellia, Breastfeeding Friends Society, Aster Clinic, and Digitally Driven.
The Community Family Sports Day is open to the public. Families with children can attend for free.
