During the Dubai Airshow 2025, Lootah Biofuels and SimpliFlying signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening collaboration in the field of sustainability across the aviation sector, with a focus on developing and promoting the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
The MoU was signed by Mr. Yousif bin Saeed Lootah, CEO of Lootah Biofuels, and Mr. Shashank, CEO of SimpliFlying, in the presence of a group of aviation industry representatives and sustainability experts.
The MoU aims to support joint efforts in several areas, including raising awareness of sustainability solutions within the aviation industry, collaborating on the development of initiatives and programs that contribute to accelerating the adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and exchanging technical knowledge and studies related to emission reduction in the aviation sector. It also includes joint work with airlines, airports, and regulatory bodies to support the transition toward cleaner energy.
Both parties emphasized that this strategic partnership aligns with global efforts to reduce emissions and reflects the UAE’s commitment to fostering innovation and adopting sustainable energy sources.
