From 26 August to 30 September 2025, five vibrant hotels across Dubai Deira and Gold District invite you to savour the Onam Sadhya, a lavish 26-item vegetarian feast served on a traditional banana leaf, brimming with authentic flavours and festive warmth.
A Culinary Tradition that Tells a Story
Marking Kerala’s beloved harvest festival, the Onam Sadhya is a time-honoured feast that brings communities together. Diners can savour a symphony of flavours, from crispy upperi (banana chips) and sweet sharkkara varatti to tangy inji puli, comforting kichadi, and richly spiced sambar. Every dish, from the creamy moru curry to the indulgent parippu payasam and palada payasam, is made using traditional recipes that celebrate the bounty of the season.
The Onam experience extends beyond the feast. Situated near Dubai’s historic Gold Souk and the scenic Dubai Creek, the participating hotels offer the perfect base for a day of exploration.
