DUBAI, 1 December 2021 – Emirates NBD – Official Banking Partner of Expo 2020 Dubai – and Dubai Astronomy Group today (1 December) presented to the public The Emirates Constellation, a tribute to the nation on the eve of the UAE’s Golden Jubilee.

The constellation was presented at a special event at Expo 2020’s Opportunity Forum.

Achieved thanks to the expertise of Dubai Astronomy Group, the constellation, which was presented at a special event at Expo 2020’s Opportunity Forum, consists of seven stars and is shaped in the form of the map of the seven emirates.

Dr Hasan Al Hariri, CEO, Dubai Astronomy Group, said: “This initiative speaks to the deep heritage of the UAE and our forefathers, who would chart the deserts and oceans with the stars. At this 50th anniversary, it also provides great inspiration for the lofty ambitions of the UAE, and is most apt at this time when the Emirates Mars Mission and the Hope Probe sees the Emirati culture navigating us further still.”

We are proud to have provided an integral role in the UAE’s economy since the UAE’s inception, and this initiative is our gift to the UAE during this 50th anniversary. We hope that The Emirates Constellation will inspire our people to continue to reach for the stars.”
