Fabergé Introduces the Colours of Love Healing Rings

Inspired by the ancient belief of the restorative properties of coloured gemstones, Fabergé is delighted to introduce the latest additions to the Colours of Love collection – a trio of ‘Healing Rings’ featuring hidden rubies, emeralds and sapphires.

There is an age-old belief that gemstones possess healing powers. This is thought to originate from the Ancient Sumerians, who would often use gemstones to make their magical formulas. The Ancient Egyptians also embraced the talismanic aspect of coloured gemstones, using lapis lazuli, turquoise, carnelian, emerald and clear quartz in their jewellery; the Egyptians also valued these gems for their link to protection and health, and believed that to unleash their full healing powers, gemstones should touch the skin. Fabergé has continued to embrace the spiritual aspect of gemstones and combined this with their well-known fondness for surprise and discovery. As such, each Colours of Love Healing Ring contains coloured gemstones concealed on the inside of its fluted band, enhancing the skin contact of the precious gems.

Each of the gemstones selected for these rings has its own perceived healing properties and spiritual powers, which in-turn can be transmitted to the wearer.

The Fabergé featuring Gemfields Colours of Love Ruby Healing Ring features hidden Gemfields Mozambican rubies set in 18k rose gold. Rubies are associated with passion, prosperity, and protection, and are also the birthstone of those born in July, a fitting tribute to this vibrant summer month.

The Fabergé featuring Gemfields Colours of Love Emerald Healing Ring features hidden Gemfields Zambian emeralds set in 18k yellow gold. Emeralds are said to symbolise growth, new beginnings, and fertility, and are also the birthstone of those born in May. Green is the perfect colour for this month, which is named after the Roman goddess Maia who oversaw the growth of plants.

The Colours of Love White Gold Fluted Healing Ring with Hidden Blue Sapphires is set in 18k white gold. Sapphires are often called the wisdom stone and are believed to focus and calm the mind, while also stimulating concentration. They are the birthstone of those born in September, a month of seasonal change and a refocussing of energy after a long summer.

Fabergé’s Colours of Love Collection exemplifies ‘A Life in Colour’, seamlessly fusing extraordinary coloured gemstones, artistic ingenuity and exceptional craftsmanship. The collection features Mozambican rubies and Zambian emeralds from Gemfields’ mines. Gemfields works with local communities, governments and conservation partners to ensure every gemstone sold supports health, education and livelihood initiatives, minimises effects on the environment and protects Africa’s biodiversity.

The collection also uses metals comprising Peruvian mined gold ore which contain no mercury, therefore making these environmentally sustainable and guaranteeing complete traceability across the supply chain.

The Fabergé Colours of Love Healing Rings are available in a broad range of sizes, from 51 to 62, and retail for £2,640/$2,940 at faberge.com, Fabergé’s boutiques in London, Houston and Dubai and selected Fabergé authorised retailers.
