“It’s amazing to bring such a diverse range of talent to World Art Dubai this year. We’ve really upped the mark with new installations including the Live Artist Battle Wall and Reverse Perspex Painting, both of which are harder than they look! As a brand we will continue to grow and push boundaries within every event we curate or play a role in,” said Wright. “It’s an exciting time for Street art, Urban Art and Contemporary Art and it’s a pleasure to be at the middle of all three.”
Each day at 5pm street art fans can enjoy a live jam battle with two pairs battling it out to create a unique mural over 90 minutes. The audience decides the winner via social media and has already proven to be hugely popular.
World Art Dubai 2021 is being held under stringent safety and hygiene protocols. DWTC has proven its capability to curate the safest face-to-face environment and deliver world-class events with the highest safety protocols, as evidenced by the recent edition of Gulfood, which welcomed tens of thousands of visitors with 98% of local and international attendees recording a ‘safe’ or ‘very safe’ experience.
To ensure safety of visitors, and in line with all government guidelines, a range of measures have been implemented, including social distancing, mandatory mask wearing, regular disinfection and clearly marked and defined entry and exit areas.
