Over 3000 employees vaccinated including the entire leadership team
In a move to support the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, the Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate today announced the completion of its vaccination drive for 3,800 employees and their families to safeguard their health. In partnership with a Health Care firm and cooperation with the UAE government, the widespread programme rolled out to offer the vaccines free of charge to all its citizens and residents. The Group’s human resources team took a lead in coordinating efforts and managing the vaccination drive under the umbrella of “Festival Cares’’, a comprehensive platform to reach out to the communities, support tenants and connect on an emotional level with our customers. The vaccination was given to employees across the various locations of the organisation including offices and labour camps.
As a socially conscious company of the UAE, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate considers the fight against this pandemic its primary responsibilities. Therefore, the vaccination drive was organised to protect its community and support the governments larger goals of providing exceptional services and care towards the UAE citizens and residents.
Before the drive, the Group conducted a vaccination willingness survey amongst their employees to gage the interest which revealed that majority were planning to take the vaccination showcasing their commitment towards their health and community at large.
With the help of this vaccination drive, the company can better support the health and well-being of its employees, their families and other stakeholders. The Group remains fully committed to follow all social distancing guidelines and other important preventative measures and urges all its stakeholders to adhere to the necessary protocols issued by the UAE health authorities.
