17th of March, Abu Dhabi: This Global Recycling day, take a pledge to protect the environment from the comfort of your home with RECAPP. Veolia is pleased to officially announce the launch of RECAPP in Abu Dhabi, a free digital service to arrange the collection of your recyclables at your doorstep. Make a point each time you recycle, you will get rewarded for your responsible behaviors.
RECAPP is a recycling app designed by Veolia for on-demand, door-to-door collection service of your recyclables. With RECAPP, your recycling actions will be made easy and will be incentivized. To incentivize responsible behavior, each time a user recycles, points will be rewarded vouchers which can later be redeemed through select RECAPP partners.
The RECAPP team ensures that all queries regarding recycling and recyclable products are resolved, along with access to tips and videos to help each user become a ‘super recycler’.
RECAPP enables a free of charge collection service of recyclable items generated by individuals such as plastic bottles and aluminum cans, with just a click of a button – and without the hassle of stepping out. Since its soft launch in November 2020, RECAPP has already gathered a community of 1000 eco-warriors in Abu Dhabi, and more than 2,5 tonnes of plastics and cans being recycled.
