Dubai, United Arab Emirates, April 2021 – Taiko Dubai invites guests to re-think Ramadan this year with an innovative Iftar offering to ignite the imagination. Taiko Dubai is the brainchild of Executive Chef Schilo van Coevorden, a culinary leader known for his immense talent and love of all things unique and original. Throughout the holy month, Taiko Dubai will pay homage to the richly authentic cuisine of the Far East, while skillfully and successfully blending together the rich flavors and evocative textures of Asia and the Middle East. This masterful approach results in a three-course Iftar menu that will enchant and delight diners of all nationalities.
Drawing on his past experiences when visiting the local majlises and cultural sites in the beautiful city of Dubai, Chef Schilo’s Iftar menu serves guests a perfect symphony of flavors expertly and effortlessly combining Asian and Arabic influences. Inspired by the essences of the Arabian Peninsula, fresh and local ingredients are at the heart of the set menu, joyfully elevated with rich and aromatic spices from the region, representing the heritage of Arabic cuisine with a touch of Japanese flair.
Dishes showcase hidden secrets and introduce an array of exotic ingredients, all reinterpreted with a contemporary eye, using a variety of traditional and modern techniques.
