Published by Harper Collins, India Sreedhar Bevara’s second book is an exceptional tale of leadership
After his first book’s huge success, Sreedhar Bevara’s latest book throws light on how true leaders rise from nowhere and produce extraordinary results when challenged by circumstances.
Releasing soon globally, the book is set in the Mau Fo5rest of East Africa and a telltale of how a herd of lambs stop the carnage by lion king Kaizaar – a real dive into leaders born Vs leaders made. It has received praise from Times of India, Mark Victor Hansen, co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series and Deepak Chopra, MD.
From being a street vendor to a waiter, a delivery boy to a door-to-door salesman, and eventually leading corporate boards, Bevara’s life is a case study on how one can realize their full leadership potential. “If you look at the jungle, the lion is one of the most influential animals, and the sheep are among the weakest. It is unimaginable to think that the sheep can muster the courage to take on the mighty lions. But when their survival is at stake, true leaders rise from nowhere and produce extraordinary results. The Roaring Lambs is not your usual ‘David vs. Goliath’ story. It takes you on a unique journey of self-realization. By the time you’ll finish reading it, you’ll be surprised that this story applies to all settings in life,” Bevara says.
“The Roaring Lambs is a truly exceptional tale of leadership. The story is set in Africa, but the lessons are universal and will help a reader identify the leader within. If you’re a fan of books like Who Moved My Cheese or The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, this book will make a deeper connection with you. We are excited to be publishing this book!” – Sachin Sharma, Senior Commissioning Editor, HarperCollins Publishers India

“The future of human evolution and life on this planet is not survival of the fittest but survival of the wisest. A new form of leadership will help create a more peaceful, sustainable, healthier and joyful world. Read this extraordinary book to learn how that’s possible. By the time you finish reading, you can be sure of one thing – identifying the leader within you.”

Times of India
‘Here’s a mythical, magical fable to inspire you to lead courageously from the inside out.’
Mark Victor Hansen, co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series
About the Book
‘How many were killed in the attack today?’ asked Fursa, the senior sheep. He was surveying the bloodstained East African grassland where the lions had gone on a rampage, now scattered with the shattered bones of his friends and families. Despair hung thick in the air.’
Welcome to the jungle. Here, the survival of the fittest is the ultimate truth. The weaker animal gets eaten in what is considered a natural food chain. But some have been tampering with the organic arrangement for selfish gains and resorting to mass murder.
In the Mau Forest in East Africa, the mighty lion king Kaizaar’s autocratic ways wreak havoc on his subjects. Known to be the longest-serving ruler of the pride, he is ministered by the shrewd Shaka – the former leader of the lambs who betrayed his flock for the stronger lions. With their defences exposed, the lambs are backed into a corner.
How do the lambs stop the carnage and find refuge?
Will they be able to reverse the fate of their species and restore the Law of the Jungle?
Can a bunch of fearful lambs learn to roar?
What emerges is an exceptional tale of leadership. The politics of the jungle and the strategies that aid survival are lessons of lasting value that will inspire and help find the leader within you.
