The fifth branch of the restaurant is located at the South Market food hall
Poke Poke, UAE’s first poke restaurant, has opened doors to its newest location at DIFC Dubai. Located at South Market, Gate Avenue’s new dining destination, the Poke Poke outlet is among 15 gourmet kitchens at the buzzing new dining concept, and making it the fifth branch for the restaurant in Dubai.
The newest Poke Poke branch is nestled within more than 9,000 square feet of an upscale, urban food hall that features rotating artisan food kiosks that offer cuisines from across the globe.
James Kilcullen, partner at Poke Poke, said: “South Market is one of the trendiest, new casual dining destinations in Dubai. The location is perfect for people looking to take a quick break from work or shopping, and to spend a relaxing time with colleagues and friends over top quality food.”
Designed with exposed ceilings, urban steel beams, raw timber and concrete features, neon signage and street art murals, this modern-day marketplace is the perfect setting for DIFC residents, workforce and shoppers to take a break.
“Poke Poke brings freshness and exceptional flavour to everything that leaves its kitchen. We’ve designed our menu in a way that allows all our customers to create a bowl to suit their taste and preference. Whether you live a vegan or pescatarian lifestyle, we’ve got a wide range of ingredients to choose from, to meet your requirements,” James said.
Poke Poke sources the freshest ingredients – fresh Norwegian salmon, internationally-sourced and locally ripened Grade A avocados, premium chicken and meats, specially-made gluten-free tamari sauce, and unique flavours from yuzu juice, quinoa and truffle oil. The menu also includes a selection of acai and avo toast options, which gives foodies in the UAE plenty of reasons to come back time and time again.
Poke Poke came to Dubai in 2017 as the first venue to bring the concept of poke bowls to the UAE. The restaurant now has five locations across Dubai with branches in the fabulous concept in 2017, with branches in Jumeirah Beach, JLT, Al Wasl 51, Sports City and now in DIFC Gate Avenue.
