LINDBERG presents its Spring Summer 2020 collection

LINDBERG presents its Spring Summer 2020 collection

A celebration of geometry and style from the ‘20s to the present
Danish premium eyewear brand LINDBERG, an innovative leader in the international eyewear
business known for its iconic designs and ground-breaking modular systems, introduces a
series of new styles for 2020. The Danish brand disrupted the global eyewear market by
being the first eyewear brand to use titanium for its lightweight wire frames over 35 years ago
and continues this tradition with its latest pieces, that are a tribute to the trends of the 20’s to
the present.
Over the past three decades, the patented LINDBERG techniques, along with carefully
engineered and crafted details, have revolutionised modern eyewear and redefined the
experience of wearing glasses. The refreshing Spring Summer 2020 styles are released as the
brand explores its rich history and experiences, taking creative motivation from daily life
details such as architecture, interiors and art pieces, celebrating beautiful and timeless design.
Themes in the styles embrace LINDBERG’s design ideals of functionalism, technical innovation,
the use of high-quality materials, impeccable craftmasnship and customisation, with each
frame tailormade to the individual for a truly one-of-a-kind look and fit.
The new styles of 2020 are an extension of LINDBERG’s 16 classic collections where they
look back at history’s trends and reference concepts such as: industrial simplicity, vintage
nostalgia, stylish oval, classic panto, technical layers and sun. In all its frames, LINDBERG
celebrates Danish Functionalism where beautiful design, high-quality materials, technical
innovation and a building system for the perfect fit is vital. Minimalism is embraced in every
single piece of LINDBERG eyewear, where each piece is rid of all unnecessary elements like
screws, rivets and welded parts – instead their in-house designers and engineers find pleasure
in letting the material itself “do the job”. The result is comfortable, ultra-lightweight, screwless
titanium eyewear.
LINDBERG also produces a unique and exclusive range called the “Precious” collection”,
perfectly aligned with the Gulf’s love of luxury and ideal for stylish Eid gifting. Each frame is
crafted from 18 carat solid gold and platinum, and embellished with natural horn, and the
highest quality of Top Wesselton VVS diamonds known for their beautiful clarity and colour. A
special part of the LINDBERG “Precious” concept features the unique natural horn from the
water buffalo, that boast unique variations in depth of colour and markings.
Available across the region, LINDBERG eyewear can be purchased at Al Jaber Opticals and
Magrabi Opticals in the UAE, Al Badr boutiques in KSA, Optica stores in Bahrain, Optica
and Magrabi stores in Qatar and International Optique in Kuwait.
About LINDBERG
LINDBERG is a family-run business led by architect MAA Henrik Lindberg, who co-founded the
company with his father optometrist Poul-Jørn Lindberg more than 3 decades ago.
LINDBERG eyewear is the embodiment of Danish design. Every pair of eyeglasses is made
with a minimalist approach without screws, rivets or welded parts. The result is ultralightweight
eyewear that keeps on revolutionising the industry with award-winning designs
and innovative technologies.
LINDBERG frames are incredibly strong and flexible – yet among the lightest and most
comfortable in the world. A part of what makes LINDBERG stand out is the modular system
that allows end-users to customise every element of their eyewear to suit their personal style
and needs.
Each pair of unique LINDBERG glasses is customised to particular preferences, individually
crafted, numbered and hand-finished by in-house eyewear specialists. Everything is made
using responsibly sourced and exceptionally long-lasting materials including titanium, gold,
buffalo horn, fine wood and diamonds.
