Dubai, 11 March 2020 – Thee Galley, a new art gallery concept has been launched Wednesday in Dubai, offering artists and talents a platform to showcase their diverse creations of art. Located in the heart of the TECOM (Barsha Heights) urban community, the venue boasts a modern art space with vibrant colors and creative interior design that takes visitors on a uniquely intriguing experience.
The new art hub will play host to a group of artists from different cultures, nationalities and backgrounds, who will showcase their paintings and arts in a unique way, creating a dialogue among themselves. Every month, the space will be revamped to house a new host of local, regional and international artists who will present their talent in an integrated, story.
Speaking about his enthusiast about art and the gallery, Wael Hamadeh, Co-Founder and Curator of Thee Gallery, said, “I’ve always wanted to show the inspiration of art from the same angle that I look at. Thee Gallery is one major step I’ve taken since I started expressing my feelings through art and paintings 25 years ago, and I feel proud and happy about it. Dubai has proven its position on the regional map as a hub for international artists to create and aspire, and I’m happy to be contributing to this by bringing art closer to the community.”

Those eight artists will be showcasing more than 20 art-pieces, paintings and sculptures during the inaugurating spectacle of the gallery’s launch. In addition to Wael Hamadeh’s art collection that is inspired by the Mediterranean heritage and its rich paintings and sculptures that talk about the surrealistic orient and its charming stories, Thee Gallery will host a diverse group of artists including Artist (names by alphabetic order) Batool Jafri from Pakistan, she is an artist, curator and art educator, Dr. SuhielBaddor from Syria Member of the Syndicate of Fine Arts Syria. Member of the Union of Arab Plastic Artists, Member of the West Asian Federation of Professional Artists. Lina Ogaily British Iraqi, Lina has exhibited in a multitude of exceptional and prestigious galleries in the Middle East, UK and Balkan states. Professor George Donald from Scotland he lectured at ECA for many years, latterly as Director of its Centre for Continuing Studies, inaugurating Master Classes at the Miro Foundation, Mallorca, working for the British Council in India and Korea, and as a visiting professor in France, China, Japan and UAE. Shefali Renthe from Denmark Shefali’s art is vivid, colourful, thrilling and awakens the senses with her use of intense textures and generous brush strokes, Shefali Ranthe international artist is now based in Copenhagen. Xeina Gazi from Slovak residing in Usa She holds an MA in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Coventry University, United Kingdom, Xenia Gazi is a globally-educated curator, museum educator, and artist with a focus on Islamic art from the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia.Yousef Al Habshi from Uae is an Emirati photographer specialising in “macro” and “micro” photography Al-Habshi won numerous local and international awards, including many international gold medals. Most notably, he won first place for two consecutive years (2012 & 2013) at the Emirates International Photography Contest. His recent achievements include first place and a gold medal at the Sharjah Arabian Photo, macro division, and being honoured by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah.
At the international level, Al-Habshi was able to win the first place in the scientific competition and specialised in micro-photography “Nikon Small Worlds” as the first Arab and Emirati to win this prestigious competition since its inception in 1975
The new art gallery concept has launched on March 11, and will welcome visitors every day between 9 am and 6 pm except Friday. It is located at the east wing of Arms &McGregor International Reality’s office, on the 5th floor at Cayan Business Center, Tecom -Dubai. Visitors and art enthusiasts will also have the change to enjoy a seamless buying experience through a digital platform, developed by B.B.P. after they scan through their mobile a unique QR code that each showcased painting will have.
